I was hoping Katniss would have to fight him in the end or Collins would have atleast described how he died instead of him just dying. I agree he shouldn't have died in the feilds!

ReplyDeleteajmonkey: I think that Katniss and Peeta obviously have some kind of feelings for each other, but they are totally tangled up and unresolved at the end of the book, so we have no idea which way it's going to go. That's part of what made the ending such a cliffhanger and obvious set up for a sequel, because their relationship will probably be explored and dramatized more. Personally, I have a hunch that they'll end up together at the end, but that may just be because I'm a romantic.

I hate the relationship between Peeta and Katniss! I think that she should have been with Gale since I saw his name on paper.

I think she should be with Gale, because Peeta is so soft with her, but he also really is annoying, and he understands nothing about her life. Also, in the 1st book, taking care of him/healing him was sort of dragging her down.
